Hi! My name is Julie! My husband and I have been married for almost 35 years and we have two grown children. As someone on the “other side” of parenting, I know how important support was for us in building a strong foundation for our family. I became a Certified Doula and Childbirth Educator because I have a profound respect for pregnancy and parenting, and a strong desire to help families off to a great start as they welcome a new baby!
The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class is designed to prepare and empower you with evidence based care, comfort measures and advocacy; all brought to you through the mentorship of an experienced instructor. You’ll have access to the Evidence Based Birth® Parent’s Site, with content videos, an extensive pdf library, and weekly Zoom calls with your mentor and class. You’ll be ready to meet your birth with confidence!
Savvy Birth 101 is designed to give you the inside scoop on how to form the ultimate birth team. You’ll learn how the power system works in most hospitals and the difference between evidence-based care and routine care. Note: this is not a childbirth class – we will not be going over the stages of labor or comfort measures. Upcoming Classes
EBB Childbirth Classes are 5 weeks in length (6 meetings in total); Express Classes are 3 weeks (6 meetings in total). Ticket includes 3 months online access; add $15 for printed workbook. – shipping only available in the US.
Savvy Birth 101 Classes are one 1-hour sessions. Ticket price is for 1 birthing person and their partner/support person.
