Julie was fantastic, she met us promptly at the hospital. She encouraged me to think of labor like an athletic event, which really helped me since I am a sports player. She empowered my husband to have an active role. He talks so highly of Julie, he couldn’t imagine birth without a doula! It was a VERY long labor, but Julie never showed that she was tired and was enthusiastically helpful. The best surprise was the support provided after birth. She made sure I was doing well. Cookies and a check in can go a long way!
